The Intuport Flexi Eggbutt Bit is designed for horses that benefit from tongue relief and a stable connection.
This bit features the Intuport Flexi mouthpiece with a medium port designed to create space for the tongue. By lifting the center of the mouthpiece away from the tongue, pressure is reduced and redistributed across the bars. This can be beneficial for horses with a sensitive tongue or those that tend to stick their tongue out.
The port includes a flat surface contacting the palate while maintaining a flat surface across the tongue, helping reduce tongue pressure.
The mouthpiece is constructed from TPU, offering flexibility and durability. Inside the mouthpiece, a wire core reinforces the structure to maintain strength while preserving flexibility. The mouthpiece also features a slight forward angle designed to follow the natural anatomy of the horse’s mouth.
The eggbutt cheekpiece provides a fixed connection between the mouthpiece and the ring, helping keep the bit stable in the horse’s mouth and supporting a consistent feel in the contact.
